Agreement to Terms

By downloading or using BowelBuddy ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Medical Disclaimer

BowelBuddy is a wellness tracking application, not a medical device. It is designed to help you track and understand your digestive patterns. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. The information provided by BowelBuddy is for educational and informational purposes only and should not be considered as professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult with a qualified healthcare provider before making any decisions about your health or medical treatment.

If you experience severe symptoms including blood in stool, sudden unexplained changes lasting more than 2 weeks, or severe pain, please seek immediate medical attention.

Use of the App

You may use BowelBuddy for personal, non-commercial purposes. You are responsible for the accuracy of any data you log in the App. You agree not to misuse, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the App.

Purchases

BowelBuddy Pro is available through monthly and annual auto-renewable subscriptions or a one-time lifetime purchase. Eligible users receive a 14-day free trial with the annual subscription. When the trial ends, the annual subscription automatically renews at the price shown in the App Store unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the trial.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm a purchase. Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store account settings. All purchases are subject to Apple's terms and conditions, and Apple handles refund requests under its refund policy.

Your Data

You own all data you log in BowelBuddy. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store and display your data on your device for the purpose of providing the App's features. We do not access, collect, or transmit your data to any server. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any information provided by the App.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of BowelBuddy after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
